Chapter 9: Post-EW, the boys get together for one last (and first ^^;) party before they go their separate ways. Duo tries to tell Heero how he feels, finally, but is rebuffed by a nervous, surprised Heero. Duo turns to Hilde, but eventually says Heero's name in bed and is kicked out into the rain. Being raised on a Colony, rain is not something Duo is terribly well adjusted to yet, and he falls ill as he has no money with him for a hotel. The next morning, Hilde regrets being so harsh but can't find Duo, and calls Heero to help. Heero, meanwhile, has been living with Relena and not very happy, and hearing Duo's name again makes him start to think about why. Heero searches until he finds Duo, who is quite sick, and then he takes Duo in. Confessions of love are made on both sides, and a tentative relationship begins.
